Art Gallery Jersey Paparounes Crimson Tee Shirt
Posted on
Last year, I treated myself to a metre of gorgeous Art Gallery jersey fabric from Minerva and made it up into a simple boat neck tee shirt towards the end of the summer. I ended up putting it away and forgetting about it so it was a nice surprise when I came across it in my drawer.
I based the tee on The Grainline Lark Tee (available as a PDF pattern) and used an old t shirt as a guide for grown on sleeves, as there wasn’t quite enough fabric for set in sleeves.
I love the simplicity of the style with the colourful fabric. As always, this Art Gallery fabric is great to work with, lovely and soft with a good amount of stretch. It washes & wears well and retains it's shape. It is so versatile & I've made dresses, underwear and tee shirts using Art Gallery Jersey. This fabric is £24.99 per metre and is 145cm/57.1" wide, with 95% Pima cotton/5% Spandex composition.
My first dress made with Art Gallery Jersey was McCall's 6884 a Faux wrap dress.
