A New Opportunity
Posted on
Follow my blog with Bloglovin I'm really pleased to have become a new member of the Minerva Crafts Blogger Network (MCBN). I have been involved in some product reviews over the last few months and my makes go live on their site over the coming weeks and, as a result, I have been invited to become a permanent member of the team.
I really enjoy doing the product reviews, however, they can be ad hoc and if I am at work when an email lands, I can miss the boat by the time I get home to look through the lovely items.
The Blogger Network is more structured working on a 3 month schedule and having a regular slot to publish the posts, mine being the 4th Tuesday of each month. My first post as a new member goes live on the 23rd October 2018. I am able to choose any items from dressmaking to crafts, Minerva then create a ‘kit list’ that readers can use to buy individual items or the whole kit if they wish to recreate the project.
I hope to use this opportunity to create items within my own niche, in particular baby loss and memory keepsakes. In turn, when I sell items I donate to an Ovarian Cancer charity, Target Ovarian Cancer.
I am really looking forward to being more involved with the MCBN, making and writing about my work & I am much more productive having a deadline to work to. I plan to organise the projects over the 3 months, choosing a simpler product for the first date thus giving a longer period of time to make a more detailed item or garment. This timescale also allows time to fulfil any orders I receive.
I share lots of photos of work in progress shots & finished items on all of my social media channels – Instagram, Facebook & Twitter.
Thank you to Minerva for giving me the opportunity to become a member of their Blogger Network.
Why don’t you check out the Minerva Crafts site for some amazing products & makes?
